Dentures, BPS dentures and bridges in Gajuwaka

Missing teeth make it harder to eat, speak and smile. Bhanu Dental Care replaces them with complete or partial dentures, precision BPS dentures, or fixed bridges, depending on what suits your mouth.

Signs and suitability

Which option suits you?

The dentist will recommend an option based on how many teeth are missing and the health of your gums and remaining teeth.

  • Complete dentures: when all teeth in a jaw are missing
  • Partial dentures: to fill gaps between your natural teeth
  • BPS dentures: a precision denture for a better fit and bite
  • Fixed bridge: replaces one or more teeth using the teeth beside the gap
  • Implant-supported options: see dental implants
  • Relining or replacing loose old dentures

Step by step

How dentures are made

  1. Consultation

The dentist examines your gums and remaining teeth and explains your options.

  2. Impressions

Detailed impressions of your mouth are taken.

  3. Bite and tooth selection

Your bite is recorded, and tooth shape and shade are chosen.

  4. Try-in

You try the denture in wax so the fit, bite and look can be adjusted.

  5. Fitting and review

The finished denture is fitted, with follow-up visits for small adjustments.

Questions

Dentures & bridges questions.

Answers to common questions. For advice about your own teeth, book a check-up.

What is a BPS denture?

BPS stands for Biofunctional Prosthetic System. BPS dentures are made with a more detailed, precise process than standard dentures, for a better fit, bite and appearance.

What is the difference between a denture and a bridge?

A denture is removable and rests on the gums. A bridge is fixed and is supported by crowns on the teeth beside the gap.

How long does it take to get used to new dentures?

Most people get used to new dentures within a few weeks. Small adjustments at follow-up visits help with any sore spots.

How should I clean my dentures?

Take them out and clean them every day with a soft brush, rinse after meals, and keep them in water when you are not wearing them. Avoid hot water, which can warp them.
